Life’s bumps and curves can feel overwhelming without adequate support and direction. I am here to walk beside you through all the ups and downs. In our work together, we will clarify what you want out of life—what’s working, what’s getting in the way, and the necessary steps to create change. My goal is to get you from surviving to thriving!
I specialize in working with individuals impacted by trauma, anxiety, grief, life transitions, depression, disordered eating, low body image, perinatal distress, and parenting struggles. I enjoy working with youth and their families, adults, couples, and members of the LGBTQI+ community. I am also a BIPOC Iranian American with a passion for working with communities of color, immigrants, and refugees. I utilize a variety of evidence-based methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems/Parts Work (IFS), Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP), Somatic Experiencing (SE), Gottman Method, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness.
I commend you for taking this next step and look forward to working with you! “Vulnerability is the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, courage, and creativity. It is the source of hope, empathy, accountability, and authenticity. If we want greater clarity in our purpose or deeper and more meaningful lives, vulnerability is the path.” -Brene Brown
