I strongly believe in the importance of creating a safe space in order to promote healing and growth. I hold a strong passion for working with first responders as well as with grief and loss, specifically working with those who have lost a loved one to suicide. I have also work with individuals who are dealing with trauma, substance use, depression and anxiety, and I have experience working in community mental health as well as in the inpatient, residential and outpatient settings. I believe that therapy is a personal journey, and utilize multiple modalities in order to best support my clients. These include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma informed perspective.
