Alyssa Lueken is licensed in Utah as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
My therapeutic practices are trauma-informed, emotion-focused, and relational. This means that I enjoy getting to know you, the client, through your unique experiences as a human. Together we can navigate your emotions, relationships, and life experiences to support your emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
My tools as a therapist are based on the foundations of attachment theory, feminist multicultural counseling, and insight-oriented counseling (meaning you know yourself best). I specialize in supporting adults and couples of all ages to meet their personal goals. Other areas of knowledge include anxiety, depression, domestic violence, abuse cycles, codependency, emotional regulation, complex trauma, shadow work, and more.
I am passionately seeking to broaden my clinical experiences to sex therapy while expanding my education and involvement in supervision. My areas of interest include common sexual dysfunctions, as well as low/no desire, desire mismatch in couples, sexual trauma, sexual shame, gender identity, sexual orientation, pornography or sex “addiction,” and kink.
